Undergraduate Student Life

The Office of Undergraduate Student Life fosters learning experiences for all students at Stevens through intellectual, personal, and social development that occurs beyond the classroom. Through intentional programming, we strive to prepare students holistically through leadership development, co-curricular programming, community engagement, and dialogue around diversity, equity, and inclusion.  We aspire to create a community of learners that think critically and act responsibly both within the Stevens community and beyond.
Specifically, we advise and provide organizational support to 140+ student organizations, provide leadership development and civic engagement opportunities, oversee new student programs, and manage Fraternity & Sorority Life. Additionally, our office coordinates annual campus-wide traditions, which include Techfest, Family Day, the Undergraduate Awards Ceremony, Senior Week, Founder’s Day Ball, and New Student Orientation.
  • Provide opportunities for students to develop leadership competencies through a variety of annual programs and student organizations.
  • Develop and facilitate workshops and training designed specially to meet the ever-changing needs of our student demographic.
  • Provide advisement and support to all student organizations, including fraternities and sororities, to enhance the overall student experience.
  • Create an open and inclusive space on campus for students to engage in meaningful participation in diversity, equity, and inclusion, including anti-racism, gender equity, and LGBTQ+ initiatives.
  • Transition our incoming students through the coordination of Pre-Orientation, Orientation, Family Weekend, and First-Year Programs.
  • Develop opportunities for students to participate in service, philanthropic efforts, and civic engagement locally, nationally, and globally.
  • Foster community and create fond memories to cultivate a sense of pride and affinity for the Stevens experience.
