Urban Resilience Engineering
A graduate certificate in Urban Resilience that will enhance an individual’s capability to lead a multi-disciplinary, real world effort to make a city more resilient. With a future that is undeniably urban, building the resilience of the world’s urban places will be critical to address new challenges and threats – some which we have begun to plan for and many we have not. Although every city’s resilience path will be different based on the unique needs of their populations and geographies, this certificate will provide an introduction to the fundamental principles of urban analysis and complex computational modeling that are the foundations to confronting these challenges.
