BME 584 Pathophysiology

The course focuses on how pathological conditions are manifested in humans. Topics include the structural and functional changes in cells, tissues, and organs during the pathological manifestations of a disease, the cause of these changes, and the collateral damage caused by malfunctioning of one or more organ systems. Diagnostic testing and interventions for certain health problems are discussed.
