CE 545 Modeling & Simulation in Civil Engineering

This course introduces basic matrix analysis for trusses, beams and frames; the development of computer algorithms for the solution of the governing equations in structures; the use of optimization algorithms in the design of structural members; dynamic modeling of frames; eigenvalue analysis in civil engineering, and use of matrix methods in the identification of structural damage.
