EE 226 Circuits and Systems II

Operational amplifiers and their applications, ideal diodes and diode circuits. PN junction diode. Physics of Bipolar Junction Transistor (BJT), Junction Field Effect Transistor (FET) and MOS Field Effect Transistor (MOSFET). Device characteristics. Biasing procedures for BJTs and FETs. Graphical analysis of circuits. Small signal models and frequency response of various amplifier configurations, decibel notation, Poles and Zeros. Input/Output impedances of amplifiers. A suitable circuit analysis package used for problem solving.
