HMU 221 Keyboard Studies II

Keyboard Studies II develops the students ability to harmonize and improvisation at the keyboard. Students acquire intermediate sight-reading and technical skills technical skills by playing minor scales and arpeggios and seventh chords and inversions. Students are assigned intermediate repertoire from various genre including classical, jazz, and at least one other of their choice. Students are encouraged to form groups to work on ensemble repertoire. Intermediate students.
