PEP 444 Modern Physics Laboratory II

You may participate in ongoing faculty research activities or select from a variety of experiments illustrating the phenomena of modern physics, such as the Rydberg constant and Balmer series, the Zeeman effect, charge of the electron, the Hall effect, absorption of photons by matter, statistics of counting processes, x-ray diffraction, nuclear magnetic resonance, the Langmuir probe, Rutherford scattering, and blackbody radiation.
