International Student and Scholar Services
The Office of International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS) provides the professional expertise and resources necessary to maintain legal status compliance of our international community members in their immigration, academic and employment endeavors. ISSS is to ensure compliance with U.S. immigration regulations applicable to the Stevens’ community and to provide advising, immigration services, promoting cross-cultural opportunities and offering specific programs and services to Stevens’ international population. ISSS is particularly dedicated to ensure that international students and scholars information included in the Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS) is updated regularly and in a timely manner by ISSS staff members, Designated School Officials (DSOs), and consistent with U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Homeland Security Investigations (DHS/ICE/HSI) requirements and by Exchange Visitor Program Responsible Offices (ROs) consistent with U.S. Department of State (DOS) requirements.
