ENGR 212 Design of Dynamical Systems

Fundamental concepts of engineering experimentation and ethics including measurement systems with electronic signals; computer data acquisition (DAQ) systems; discrete sampling; analysis of time-varying signals; statistical analysis of experimental data; experimental uncertainty analysis; dynamic measurements systems; Internet of Things (IoT) and 5G Mobile wireless applications; and ethics in engineering design. Students will learn and apply software tools including MATLAB and Simulink, and work with experimental equipment to apply concepts of iterative design, analysis, and experimental testing in a design project.
