MA 604 Methods of Mathematical Physics II

A unified development of mathematical tools for treating a variety of problems in physics and engineering; linear algebra, normed and inner product spaces, spectral theory of operators; integral equations; boundary value problems for ordinary and partial differential equations; Green’s functions; calculus of variations; other related topics as time permits; problem solving is stressed.
