Engineer Degree in Biomedical Engineering
The Engineer Degree in Biomedical Engineering is a terminal professional degree beyond the master's degree. The purpose of the Engineer program is to advance the training of engineers beyond the master's level and to provide modern education for engineers whose master's degrees are not recent. The degree requires the completion of 60 credits beyond the bachelor’s degree or, for those entering with a master’s degree, 30 credits beyond the masters’ degree. Of the total credits toward the degree, 8 to 15 credits must be taken for a design project. For the design project, the students are required to complete a project report, which must be approved by a committee (project advisor; reader; and program director(s), as ex-officio member(s) and submit the report to the library.
