Athletics

Stevens competes at the NCAA Division III level for intercollegiate sports. Men participate in baseball, basketball, cross-country, fencing, golf, lacrosse, soccer, swimming, tennis, indoor and outdoor track and field, volleyball, and wrestling. Women represent Stevens in basketball, cross-country, fencing, field hockey, lacrosse, soccer, softball, swimming, tennis, indoor and outdoor track and field and volleyball. All sports, other than men and women’s fencing, are affiliated with the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) and MAC Freedom. Men’s fencing competes in the Mid Atlantic Collegiate Fencing Association and women’s fencing is a member of the Eastern Women’s Fencing Conference.

 

Stevens also offers a wide variety of intramural sports, club sport teams, an outdoor recreation program, aquatics activities, and an extensive offering of informal sport/recreational opportunities including fitness and wellness classes, and a brand-new fitness center and movement studio located in the University Center Complex. Students can enjoy a full program of athletic and recreational activities throughout the year.

 

Club sports teams compete at the regional and national level with other colleges and universities. The current club sport offerings include baseball, bowling, climbing, crew, ice hockey, lifting, sailing, ski and snowboard, men’s soccer, women’s soccer, ultimate frisbee, men’s volleyball, and women’s volleyball.
