International Students
Admissions requirements and procedures for international applicants are the same as those for domestic candidates with the exception of test scores. If choosing to submit test scores for consideration, international applicants may submit one of the following: SAT I, ACT, two AP exams (calculus and either chemistry or physics), two SAT subject tests (math and either chemistry or physics), International Baccalaureate predicted grades with two higher level exams scores in math or science. International applicants whose first or native language is not English are required to take the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) and earn a score of at least 550 on the paper version or 80 on the internet based version. We also accept the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) with a score of 6 or higher as well as the PTE, or Duolingo exams.
At Stevens, international students are not eligible for federal funding from the U.S. Department of Education. There are limited merit-based scholarships for which you do not need to apply (all applicants for admission are automatically considered). Additional sources of money for international students include loan programs and the Stevens Cooperative Education Program; information about these programs can be found in this catalogue.
