BIO 684 Molecular Biology Laboratory Techniques

This laboratory course introduces essential techniques in molecular biology and genetic engineering in a project format. The course includes Hands on experinece in aseptic techniques and the handling of microbes; isolation, purification and quantitation of nucleic acids; construction, selection and analysis of recombinant DNA molecules; restriction mapping; cDNA synthesis and PCR methods; gene editing and other modern molecular biology techniques
