BME 565 Biomedical Device Design Project
The focus of this class is to introduce strategies and fundamental biomedical design criteria for the development of biomedical devices. Students will learn best practices for designing a marketable medical device, including the design process from the clinical problem definition through prototype and clinical testing to market readiness. Students will be required to complete a team-oriented design project by working closely with potential users and consultants.

(BME 555 or ME 580) and Grad student or At least Junior Standing
