ENGR 402 Practicum in Engineering and Science

International undergraduate students may arrange an educationally relevant internship or offcampus position (for pay or unpaid) and receive Curricular Practical Training (CPT) credit via this course. Undergraduate students must maintain their full-time student status while receiving CPT; this course thus will only be available in the summer. Prior approval by the Associate Dean for Undergraduate Studies in the Schaefer School of Engineering and Science (or their designate) is required for enrollment. Students who wish to enroll in the course must follow the CPT guidelines established by the Stevens International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS) office and must have already obtained an offer letter in their field of study. The work must be educationally relevant; i.e. it must help the student to develop skills consistent with the goals of their undergraduate educational program. This is a one-credit course that may be repeated up to a total of three credits.
