COMM 550 Communicating in Online Spaces

This course prepares students for online communication using a variety of media, including audio, visual, and written text. This course will enable students to reinforce good technical writing and communication practices; incorporate audience-centric practices when designing information for the web; think in non-linear ways; recognize the different functions of various media formats and how to write for each; and understand how each medium conveys information similarly or differently, including the audio-visual choices necessary for each.
