Cooperative Education

Cooperative Education (Co-op) is an experiential education program that allows students to alternate semesters of full-time study and full-time work. The first year and last year of the student's enrollment at Stevens are dedicated to full-time study. In between, students work full-time for a maximum of three semesters in a field related to their academic program of study and career interests. The Co-op Program helps students apply classroom learning to real world situations and problems.

Eligibility

The Co-op Program is available to full-time undergraduate students pursuing degrees in engineering, computer science, and cybersecurity disciplines. First- year students must enroll and successfully pass COOP 100: Introduction to Cooperative Education. All course requirements must be completed, and students must be in good academic standing with a minimum 3.00 GPA.
