ME 483 Control Systems

Analysis and synthesis of single-input, single-output (SISO) linear time-invariant (LTI) feedback control systems. Laplace transforms, transfer functions, poles and zeros, block diagrams, time response, and frequency response. Performance criteria, multi-domain systems modeling, Routh-Hurwitz stability, root-locus, Bode plots, stability margins, compensator design, applications relevant to mechanical engineering.
