MGT 625 Introduction to ESG

This course will introduce the student to contemporary issues of sustainability, ethics, corporate governance, adopting a critical perspective through different seminars of 2 hours each. These seminars will provide an overview of business paradigms that can impact corporate sustainability, governance and integrity, including Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) dimensions and their connection to technology with the objective of ensuring firms to sustain a competitive advantage. Finally, there is a seminar on critical thinking that stimulates students to cultivate a healthy skepticism toward ESG and new technologies, fostering the ability to ask questions, flag biases, challenge assumptions, and investigate evidence.
