Master of Science in Technology Management (MSTM)
The Master of Science in Technology Management (MSTM) is a part-time program specifically designed for mid- to senior-level professionals wishing to thrive in the rapidly evolving technology landscape. MSTM program seamlessly blends knowledge of new technologies with strategic management and a human-centered leadership approach to help them drive organizational success.
The program is specifically crafted for working professionals with an excellent record in traditional business strategies but have limited exposure to modern technologies and may lack a holistic understanding of business-technology integration. This program educates students in new and emerging technologies that include both customer/ product-focused technology like AI/ML, Big Data & Analytics, and operational technology like Robotics, Cloud Computing. It enhances integrated strategic thinking in synthesizing concepts from Marketing, Operations, Finance, Accounting, and Strategy. It aims to develop human-centered leaders that are inclusive and understand the impact of innovation on all stakeholders.
The MSTM program consists of twelve courses that are completed in five terms. The courses are supplemented with workshops, guest-speaker series, and hands-on experiences. These experiences include a leadership lab held at the US Military Academy at West Point, a Capstone project, and access to a panel of alumni mentors and career coaches.
Courses are scheduled on alternating Saturdays on the Stevens campus from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Degree Requirements: The MS in Technology Management consists of 12 courses (30 credits). A minimum GPA of 3.0 is required to graduate.
Admission requirements: Admission to the MSTM program requires that applicants have a bachelor’s degree and ideally 5+ years of relevant full-time work experience.
The GMAT/GRE is not required for admission to the MSTM program.
